4.5m Sibley Traveller Bell Tent

The 4.5m Traveller gives you the classic look and spacious feel of a Sibley bell tent in a size that works beautifully for camping holidays and weekends away. With approximately 15.9m² of floor space and a 2.75m centre height, there’s room for a comfortable couple’s setup or a family camping arrangement. CanvasCamp lists the tent’s capacity as two to six people; how much space each person has will depend on your beds and gear.
The tent is made from Tentex® PC28 technical cotton canvas, a breathable blend of approximately 65% cotton and 35% polyester. The fabric weighs 285g/m² before coating and is treated for water repellency, UV resistance, colour retention, and resistance to mould and rot. It’s a practical choice for campers who want the feel of canvas in a tent designed for regular trips.
A zip-in, bathtub-style PVC groundsheet helps keep the interior dry and makes cleaning and packing easier. On warm days, unzip and roll up the sidewalls to let air flow all around the tent, transforming it into an open, shaded place to relax. Fine mesh at the door and windows lets you enjoy the breeze while helping to keep insects out.
The Traveller is designed to be straightforward to pitch, with a spring-loaded steel centre pole and A-frame entrance, forged steel pegs and UV-treated guy ropes. CanvasCamp estimates 10 to 15 minutes for one person to set it up once familiar with the tent. Whether you’re heading to a festival, returning to a favourite campsite or making a longer holiday of it, the 4.5m Traveller gives you a welcoming space to call your own.

The Sibley Traveller Series is manufactured from Tentex® PC28. The material is made from combed yarn, woven in a plain weave.

The Sibley Traveller Series is treated with a water-based coating to be UV resistant, fade resistant, water repellent, and mould and rot resistant while maintaining breathability. The coating was integrated into the tent fabric fibers prior to production. The coating is basically invisible, but without a doubt the most important aspect of your tent!

The heavy-duty bathtub-style groundsheet rises some 12cm high and is made of durable 100% waterproof polyethylene for maximum comfort, and features rip-stop for strength. The tub-style groundsheet is virtually indestructible and allows camping on any surface. Even if your tent sits in 10 cm of water for months on end, you and your gear will stay perfectly dry. The groundsheet is attached to the tent with a heavy-duty zipper so that water and vermin have no chance.
