Owners Paul and Brent share a love of camping that has taken them around Australia and overseas. They brought that enthusiasm together with their interior design skills to build a business centred on comfortable, thoughtfully styled stays outdoors. Today, they travel to event sites to create everything from a small group of tents to a complete glamping village.

A wedding is a wonderful example of how it works. Instead of guests having to leave the property at the end of the night, The Bell Tent Hire Co can set up accommodation at the venue. The team delivers and pitches the tents, then returns to pack them down after the event. For larger bookings, guests can arrange and pay for their own tent accommodation directly with the company, giving the hosts one less detail to coordinate.

The tents can be tailored to the occasion. The Bell Tent Hire Co offers four sizes, from a cosy three-metre tent for one guest to a five-metre tent that sleeps up to four. Its Bronze package provides an erected and lit tent ready for guests to furnish; Silver adds mattresses; and Gold includes bedding and extra comforts such as cushions, lanterns and a side table. That flexibility makes it possible to create the right feel for a wedding, festival, retreat or private celebration.

The team also hires StarShade marquees, creating space for guests to gather as well as sleep. Used alongside a bell tent village, a marquee can bring an outdoor event together, offering a setting for shared meals, conversation and celebrations.
