Festival Spirit
FESTIVAL SPIRIT: FESTIVAL GLAMPING GOALS
Here at Breathe Bell Tents , we’re getting in the Festival spirit, since after all it is a time for free spirits to come together and let your inner bohemian run free! If you are heading to a festival this year, we have a few tips on how to take your ‘glamping’ experience to the next level.
TIP #1 THE PERFECT TENT
Start with a spacious tent like our dreamy one from Breathe Bell Tents – we have a variety of sizes and styles so you can find the tent that will be right for you.
We used the 5m bell tent and has loads of space – you could comfortably fit 4 or 5 of your crew with plenty of space to spare for lounging about between bands!
The natural colour is great for letting a little light inside and tent itself is quite roomy, with plenty of height for getting ready.

TIP #2 ADORN YOUR TENT
Outfits aren’t the only way to make a statement at Splendour. Make a statement outside your tent as well as inside by hanging beautifully embroidered torans from your doorway, using sugarshack mats in your door way, and using floor cushions to bring the inside outdoors for those afternoon chill sessions.
TIP #3 GET COZY
Time to make your tent a home with comfy cushions and mats! Mats are perfect for keeping the tent warm overnight. We scattered a variety of sugarshack mats and mandala throws down as a base before turning one spot in a lounge area with floor cushions and scattered cushions.
Keep that festival vibe going with lots of colour and texture!

TIP #4 BEDTIME
If space isn’t an issue in your tent, we recommend purchasing an inflatable mattress! Your tired body will thank you, especially after spending the day wandering between shows, standing in lines and sitting on the hard ground. Don’t forget your favourite quilt and pillows…now you’re in for a good night’s sleep!

TIP #5 BRING SOME ENTERTAINMENT
A guaranteed way to meet new people is to bring an instrument…preferably one you can play, but if not, maybe someone can teach you!
Azure rocked out with a little ukelele and it’s size makes it ideal for travel.
TIP #6 BYO FOOD
Save your pennies and bring along some healthy (or unhealthy!) snacks to enjoy with your friends.
We brought some strawberries, cherries, apple, crackers, almonds and hommus dip, plus some sparkling water to keep us refreshed.
TIP #7 PICS OR IT DIDN’T HAPPEN
Whatever your favourite social platform is, be sure to document and share your Splendour experience! Not just for the likes but for the memories.
Grab an old school film camera, take a stack of pictures and be in for a surprise when you develop your film!
And if you happen to be rocking some Tree of Life merch, don’t forget to tag us and use the hastags #treeloves and #splendourinthetree
